Requirements
- Mechanical
engineering work experience is required.
- Product lifecycle
management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and
computational fluid dynamics experience
(CFD)
- Extensive knowledge
of computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided
manufacturing (CAM) (CAE)
- Knowledge of 2D or
3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g.,
AutoCAD, ProE, or other)
- Adequate
understanding of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS,
ProMechanica, or similar)
- Understanding
mathematical computing and analysis tools (Matlab, Excel,
LabView, etc.)
- Solid understanding
of fundamental concepts such as mechanics, kinematics,
thermodynamics, materials science, etc.
- Analytical and
creative abilities
- Technical knowledge
must be communicated clearly and
understandably.
