Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.
Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.
Why this role?

As a Manager, Solutions Engineering, you will lead, build, and mentor a world-class Solutions Engineering (SE) team at scale. You'll play a key role in shaping how modern organizations build and secure software at scale. This opportunity is impactful because you will drive collaboration from cross-functional teams to influence and unify stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for leading the SE team, owning revenue and consumption responsibilities for the group. You will join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and help drive our mission to embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:
  • Drive significant transformation in the Solutions Engineering domain, grounded in deep technical understanding and aligned with business priorities and a clear technical vision.

  • Recruit, hire, lead, retain, and coach a world-class specialist team, serving as a hands-on coach to develop great solutions engineers from the front line

  • Act as a business and technical thought leader, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive Regional and Account strategy and execution.

  • Serve as a CTO to Executive Champion or Executive Sponsor at customers, demonstrating executive engagement skills and presence.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy, account plan, and opportunity plan alongside sales partners.

  • Provide hands-on coaching to the team from consultative/technical qualification to value-driven go-to-market execution.

  • Champion the voice of our customers to influence product direction and feature priorities, providing guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategy and product obstacles/gaps.

  • Build processes to measure the performance and impact of the SE team, ensuring the team is optimized to meet rapidly evolving business needs.

What You Bring:
  • 3 years in team leadership capacity, onboarding, coaching, and enabling pre-sales talents

  • 7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity. With a proven track record of leading and managing complex sales cycles through best practices for qualification, POVs, architecture design, and value demonstrations.

  • A strong knowledge of the developer, DevOps, Application Security, and ASPM ecosystems and practices.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with a strong executive presence and ability to foster deep relationships with our customers.

It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
  • Have experience in leading complex sales and solution organizations at enterprise scale, which can include leading professional services and partner organizations.

  • Have previous technical sales experience with APIs, distributed systems, databases, and/or developer tools.

  • Are a thought leader on industry trends and competitive dynamics, leveraging this knowledge to shape strategy around user engagements.

  • Have experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level.

  • Nurture and are the role model of a positive outlook, can-do attitude, and growth mindset.
