About this Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Fullstack JavaScript Engineer to join the at Way2B1. This team is dedicated to delivering scoped engineering work for paid customer engagements—including co-development contracts and personalized statements of work (SOWs). If you're passionate about solving real-world problems through software and enjoy working directly on customer-driven initiatives, this role is for you.
You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering Leadership to implement tailored solutions that align with our platform’s vision and technical standards. You’ll contribute across the stack, applying your expertise to diverse technical challenges while helping ensure the long-term maintainability and scalability of our platform.
As a member of the Way2b1 Team, you’ll be part of a vertical focused on rapid, high-impact customer delivery. This team operates as either our Success Team (focused on compliance and third-party integrations) or Evolve Team (focuses on long-term platform architWecture and technical enablement).
You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to platform strategy, shape internal tooling and practices, and influence the broader technical roadmap as we continue scaling our enterprise and direct-to-consumer offerings.
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript with expertise in backend (Express, Postgres) technologies.
- Familiarity with modern back-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of JavaScript or Typescript
- Experience with server-side development using Express and database management with Postgres.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with React and front-end development practices and technologies.
- Experience with BuildKite and build automation frameworks.
