This is an internship for college students. The individual selected for the position will support operation processes for the EW IMC and extended factories on a variety of products and programs.
The position will entail working in cross-functional teams to identify and solve industrial engineering problems though-out the business. Activities will include capacity modelling, AutoCAD floor layout design, process improvement, and various other tasks.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Pursuing a technology or engineering degree and will have complete their sophomore year of college prior to start of internship
  • Effective communication (cross shift, written, PowerPoint, and various levels of audiences)


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Knowledge of Lean Principles
  • Microsoft office application proficiency
  • AutoCAD or other 2-D or 3-D CAD
  • Discrete event simulation modelling


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44660 - $60280
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
