Calgary-based CoolIT Systems, a leader in scalable liquid cooling solutions for high-performance computing, has announced the appointment of Jason Waxman as CEO, effective immediately.
According to a news release, Waxman brings more than 20 years of experience in the data center industry, most recently serving as president of Fluke Corporation. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Intel Corporation and was a founding board member of the Open Compute Project, an initiative aimed at redesigning hardware to support modern compute infrastructure.

Chief Operating Officer Patrick McGinn will also expand his role, stepping up to serve as president. McGinn has been with CoolIT for over 13 years, holding a range of leadership positions across the organization.
