Lead design and delivery of backend risk systems to detect and prevent fraud, manage credit and market risk, and protect users. Drive architecture for distributed, high-availability services, partner with Data Science/ML and product teams, build AI-native detection and response systems, mentor engineers, own operational excellence, and lead incident response and post-mortems.

Build and scale distributed backend services for growth infrastructure (notifications, referrals, targeting, lifecycle communications, ML ranking). Design resilient service-oriented systems on cloud, ship well-tested production code, run growth experiments/A-B tests, improve developer tooling and shared platform capabilities, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable acquisition and retention impact.

Lead Base brand creative at the intersection of onchain art, culture, community, and technology. Own creative vision, prototype and execute campaigns across digital, social, and onchain formats, partner with product leadership, mentor in-house studio talent, and drive real-time reactive creative to grow community engagement.

Lead technical strategy and architecture for Coinbase Payments: design and evolve high‑availability, low‑latency funds‑flow and rails systems, drive cross‑team initiatives and reliability improvements, enforce financial correctness, mentor senior engineers, and align stakeholders across product, risk, and compliance.

Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs for stablecoin-based pay-ins, payouts, deposits, and withdrawals. Own projects end-to-end as DRI, collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve scalability and reliability issues, mentor engineers, and integrate blockchain/payment technologies while producing technical design documents.
