Own search roadmaps, experimentation, engagement and revenue metrics, AI-powered search experiences, partner commitments, and cross-functional delivery. Balance user experience, privacy, technical constraints, and business outcomes while collaborating with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, and Business Development.

Develop and optimize Firefox across platforms by writing code and tests, profiling bottlenecks, improving performance-critical systems, and shaping benchmarks and team strategy. The role uses C++ and JavaScript primarily, with Kotlin, Rust, and Python, while collaborating across engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving performance initiatives from high-level objectives to completion.

Own Firefox mobile product development, primarily for iOS and also Android. Improve browser usability, performance, downloads, activation, retention, and differentiated features through user research, analytics, testing, and iteration. Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and technical program management teams to ship improvements, monitor app health, optimize app-store presence, support global markets, and address local user needs.

Lead backend development and own services end-to-end: design, build, deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems. Collaborate with frontend, CloudEng, product, and design; participate in on-call rotations, code reviews, security/privacy reviews, and mentor junior engineers to maintain reliability and quality.

Build, maintain, and evolve Mozilla’s Internal Developer Infrastructure Platform: CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, and cost optimization. Lead MZLA’s enterprise strategy and partner-led growth across products and services. Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, develop pricing and commercial models, support negotiations, and coordinate enterprise requirements across product, engineering, partners, and Mozilla entities. Translate technical capabilities, privacy, security, and digital sovereignty priorities into practical enterprise propositions and repeatable execution processes. The role requires executive communication, hands-on commercial analysis, cross-functional influence, and periodic international travel.

Owns operational execution for Firefox Mobile lifecycle marketing, including ASO, campaigns, product launches, localization, quality assurance, reporting, and cross-functional workflows. The role develops repeatable processes, automation, and AI-assisted solutions to improve execution quality, scalability, and campaign performance.

Lead and mature Mozilla's ISMS and compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2), support audit execution and evidence collection, manage policy lifecycle, track remediation and internal audits, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate compliance requirements into practical controls and processes.

Work on Firefox security architecture and cryptography stack, implement and maintain WebPKI and security-sensitive web APIs, design and ship web platform security features, debug and improve multi-threaded browser performance and memory, collaborate across teams on security initiatives, and contribute to technical design and planning.

Own and scale Mozilla's web bug bounty program; triage and validate reports; drive end-to-end remediation with engineering teams; perform targeted code reviews (JavaScript, Python); collaborate with SIRT on incidents and post-incident reviews; build tooling and metrics to improve triage, automation, and program insights.

The Front End Engineering Manager will lead a distributed team, driving improvements to the Firefox Desktop experience, managing multiple projects, and ensuring quality software delivery while fostering an inclusive team environment.

Design, build, and maintain scripts, APIs, integrations and agentic AI workflows for workplace systems (collaboration tools and identity platforms). Implement monitoring, automate onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning, troubleshoot reliability and security issues, document shared libraries, and partner across IT, Security, and People teams to improve user experience and scalability.
