The Director II, Inside Sales will coach a team of sales managers, manage hiring and onboarding, support professional development, and drive a high-performance culture focusing on customer success and team collaboration.

Manage strategic relationships with large fleet customers, develop joint success plans, run executive business reviews and workshops, recommend operational workflow changes, coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor other CS staff, and drive adoption and value from the Samsara IoT platform.

Serve as the primary post-implementation contact for top customers, craft joint success plans, run executive business reviews and workshops, mentor teammates, support French-speaking customers, and advise on customizing Samsara’s IoT platform to drive safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Design, develop, debug, and test cloud-connected firmware features (C/C++ and Go). Support and scale IoT device fleet, build observability and rollout metrics, triage customer/QA issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready firmware.

Design and build Samsara’s cloud governance platform, including IAM guardrails, security controls, compliance automation, and software supply-chain security tooling across AWS and GCP. Develop reliable distributed systems, secure CI/CD patterns, and SAST/DAST capabilities. Contribute to technical roadmaps, collaborate across infrastructure, security, compliance, and engineering teams, and communicate design tradeoffs while mentoring teammates through reviews and pairing.

The Senior Security Engineer I will build and maintain core security infrastructure, collaborate with global teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive security initiatives.

Lead and develop a Canada Scaled Customer Success team to drive onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewals via digital scale programs. Hire and coach CSMs, manage KPIs/OKRs, improve processes and tooling, collaborate cross-functionally, and escalate high-stakes customer moments to ensure measurable customer outcomes.

Build and ship internal data and AI products to help Product and Engineering teams. Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, convert analyses into repeatable tools and dashboards, and drive end-to-end projects from scoping to launch and iteration. Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, translate findings into decision-ready recommendations, and embed feedback loops and documentation for long-term adoption.

Lead design and delivery of full-stack, AI-driven products and platform capabilities. Own technical strategy, ship end-to-end features, build scalable data and API systems, mentor engineers, and partner with product and customer teams to turn ambiguous real-world problems into measurable outcomes.

Build and own technically complex, mission-critical full-stack systems and AI-powered products. Define technical strategy, design and ship end-to-end features across backend, frontend, and mobile, and scale data ingestion and APIs. Lead cross-team projects, mentor engineers, drive technical standards, and partner with product, design, and customer teams to deliver measurable impact.

Own end-to-end sales for small-to-medium commercial customers (11–30 vehicles). Prospect and qualify leads, run proofs of concept, negotiate multi-stakeholder deals, handle high-volume transactional sales, and meet quota while championing customer success and company culture.

Design, build, and maintain SparkSQL/PySpark data pipelines in the central data lake to ingest IoT, product, and unstructured data (video/audio). Produce reliable computed tables for analytics, model training, and dashboards; integrate external datasets; ensure high data quality and uptime; and collaborate with Data Science, ML, and cross-functional teams.

Lead detection, incident response, and digital forensics across macOS/Windows/Linux; act as Incident Commander, triage alerts, use SIEM, build investigation scripts and automated runbooks, collaborate with stakeholders on insider threat and security operations improvements.

Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion, replication, and lakehouse infrastructure to move petabytes of data into a Delta Lake on S3. Improve reliability, observability, security, and developer experience for Spark/Databricks processing. Develop internal libraries and tooling (Go/Python), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape long-term data platform and AI-ready infrastructure.

Design, build, and operate large-scale Spark/PySpark data pipelines and the enterprise data platform. Implement data integrations, transformations (Python/SQL), monitoring, and data quality. Build MCP servers and AI-enabled tooling, optimize performance, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional data projects to enable analytics and automation.

Lead technical direction for developer platform tooling: CI/CD, build systems, and AI coding agents. Design, build, and scale AI agents for coding, code review, testing, release automation, and incident response. Standardize tools, mentor engineers, drive cross-team technical projects, and represent the platform externally.

Lead FP&A and strategic finance for R&D and Supply Chain Operations; own forecasting, controllership, and cost drivers (COGS, hardware, comp, AI infra); build scalable processes and AI-enabled reporting; partner with senior technical leaders and manage a high-performing finance team.

The role involves supporting Samsara's largest customers in optimizing their operations using IoT data, conducting workshops, guiding transformation initiatives, and ensuring long-term success through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Lead end-to-end design for strategic web and mobile product initiatives, collaborating with product and engineering, engaging customers for research and validation, mentoring designers, and shipping high-impact interaction and visual designs that improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
