Job Description

Purpose of your Role

OFX is seeking a driven, results-oriented team player to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you'll be responsible for qualifying and converting inbound sales leads and trial users into dedicated clients of OFX. You'll work to identify customer needs, effectively articulate OFX’s value proposition, and discuss how OFX’s products and solutions provide an opportunity for better business money management, financial operations and spend control. This is a face-paced sales role that requires speed and efficiency throughout the sales cycle. Account Executives who consistently exceed their targets will have the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting career growth prospects within our dynamic and growing organization.

What you do

  • Prompt follow-up on warm leads primarily generated through marketing registrations
  • Review customer profiles, identify customer needs and engage with potential clients through video, phone, & email
  • Provide an overview of OFX’s products and solutions, quickly identifying value for the prospective client
  • Own sales cycle through to close, hitting monthly targets
  • Communicate with buyers that include Finance leaders, Controllers, Accountants, C-level executives and other decision makers
  • Ensure complete and accurate client relationship records within Salesforce
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure clients are guided through the required compliance checks and are ready to engage with OFX’s Activation team
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of OFX products, solutions, and pricing

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Experience:  Sales Professional with 2+ Years in B2B, SaaS or payments
  • Education: Post Secondary degree or diploma in related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated success achieving sales goals in competitive fast-paced environment
  • Industry Expertise: Experience selling to finance teams, CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and banking sectors. Knowledge of FinTech and Payments a plus.
  • Client-Focused Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales approach, with the ability to educate clients on best practices and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Tech-Savvy & SaaS: Comfortable with SaaS applications, able to translate technical features into business benefits for clients. Familiar with web conferencing tools for product demos and presentations.
  • Collaborative: Team player and highly adaptable with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized & Efficient: Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency.
  • Detail-orientated: Experience with CRMs, specifically Salesforce. Ability to maintain accurate forecasting and records
  • Communication & Professionalism: Confident, articulate, professional communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to establish relationships quickly
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and work towards solutions

We offer a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $110,000 – $150,000 CAD, which includes a base salary of $78,000 – $85,000 CAD complemented by an uncapped commission structure. Our comprehensive benefits package is available to all full-time employees and part-time employees working a minimum of 24 hours per week, ensuring you receive valuable support and perks as part of your compensation.

We also offer a flexible hybrid working model where employees typically work 1-2 days from one of our North American offices (San Francisco, Toronto or Edmonton).
