Job Description: Q-Block Computing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum science and technology by supporting the efficient and effective operation of our business. 

Job summary: As an Administrative Assistant, you will collaborate with other team members and perform administrative tasks under the guidance of senior leaders. Job duty includes the administrative & clerical activities, review & preparation of templates, reports, PowerPoint & Words documents, Excel workbooks, minute recording, scheduling, and research & compilation of information. You will contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative and clerical activities
  • Review and prepare general templates, letters, and reports
  • Review and prepare PowerPoint and Word documents, Excel workbook and other correspondence materials
  • Project expense recording
  • Research and compile information/data as applicable
  • Manage and coordinate multiple calendars
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings
  • Manage meeting minutes
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations

Qualification

  • Post-secondary education in administration

Skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, authenticity, and a sense of responsibility in all tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaborative in a dynamic team environment
