Job Description

AltaGas - Midstream Operational Integration Coordinator

AltaGas is seeking a dedicated Midstream Operational Integration Coordinator to support and coordinate the integration of Midstream business and operational requirements for key projects, including new builds, acquisitions, and significant modifications. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful start-up and sustainment of facilities through effective planning, scheduling, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with multiple teams and departments.

You will:

  • Identify, plan, schedule, track, and manage operational readiness requirements for facility start-up and sustainment.
  • Ensure compliance with Midstream Operations Management System (OMS) and integrate requirements from key business functions (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Digital).
  • Coordinate maintenance, inventory, staffing, training, competency, and contractor needs for the different facilities.
  • Support the creation and implementation of operational readiness playbooks and administrative tools.
  • Facilitate the handover process to operations teams, ensuring review and acceptance of completed scopes.
  • Work closely with CSU, operations, and project teams to ensure a unified approach.
  • Develop and manage operational readiness schedules, incorporating milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements, and continuously optimize resource allocation.
  •  Manage status dashboards and other tools for tracking operational readiness activities.
  • Assist functional leads with standard operating procedures, training, competency development, document retrieval, and communication requirements.
  • Identify, document, and resolve challenges, risks, schedule clashes, and efficiency opportunities, and manage operational readiness-related deficiencies.

You have:

  • Minimum 10 years in integration activities, project planning, scheduling, and execution, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Gas plant experience preferred; other related experience considered.
  • Familiarity with Operations Management Systems is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills; proficiency in project planning and reporting software; adept with MS Excel, Visio, and Project.
  • Ability to work effectively within team environments and independently with minimal direction.
