Job Description

AltaGas - Senior Communications Advisor
AltaGas is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Communications Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that support our HR, Digital, and Safety teams. You will create high-quality, audience-centric content and lead internal campaigns to drive employee engagement and support key initiatives.

You Will:

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive communications strategies, specifically for HR, Digital, and Safety teams

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, audience-centric communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations

  • Campaign Management: Lead the creation and management of internal campaigns to support key initiatives and drive employee engagement

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on communication trends and business needs to continuously improve strategies, methods, and platforms

  • Liaison: Collaborate with internal partners to provide guidance, tools, and best practices that support communication strategies and initiatives

  • Project Leadership: Oversee and manage internal communications projects

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

  • Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies

  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills

  • Experience in managing internal communication campaigns

  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Strong project management and leadership abilities
