We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with strong financial acumen to join our Intelligence team in Calgary, AB. As an Analyst on our Clean Fuels Intelligence team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, financial analysts and data professionals to publish investment research focused on biofuels, hydrogen, electrofuels and other relevant technologies. The ideal candidate can provide independent execution while supporting team initiatives, including client calls and in-person roadshows.
Performance Objectives

  • Spearhead the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets, and generate opinions on clean fuels market activity using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™ and external data sources.
  • Develop and maintain macroeconomic and financial models critical for formulating opinions on clean fuels policies and project viabilities. Identify and incorporate useful new sources of information including investor documents, government, and industry datasets.
  • Publish actionable investment research that helps our institutional and corporate clients make better capital allocation decisions.
  • Collaborate with members of the Product team to enhance and create new datasets and workflows within the Enverus Prism™ platform.
  • Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Prism™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing industry and investors today.
  • Provide thought leadership by contributing to industry discussions, sharing insights, and promoting the company's expertise in the energy markets.
  • Partner with Intelligence, Sales, and Customer Success teammates to build and maintain strong relationships with and in support of clients.


Required Work Experience and Education

  • 0 - 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field


Competitive Candidate Profile

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and refine economic models
  • Understand the market fundamentals and/or economic analyses of clean fuels technologies and related markets, including relevant policies and credit mechanisms, deal flow and investment trends and supply chain dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable insights from large, dynamic datasets
  • Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development
  • Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and markets driving the energy transition and to become the leading expert in this field
  • Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work
