As an Analyst, Disbursement Operations, you will lead process improvements, design innovative automation solutions, and enhance scalability to support global money movement. Your expertise in financial controls and cross-border regulations will help identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline workflows, and establish reliable monitoring systems to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborating across teams and with external partners, you’ll address complex disbursement challenges, conduct process analysis, update documentation, and provide clear requirements for technical teams. Your adaptability, organizational skills, and commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment will set you up for success in this dynamic role.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze complex platform and financial transaction data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize processes, collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions
- Conduct process analysis, document processes, and update procedures to ensure efficiency and clarity for the Disbursement team
- Develop documentation and training materials for new processes or applications
- Communicate key issues to technical teams and management, contributing to effective resolutions
- Build analytics and provide actionable insights using disbursement metrics
- Partner with Operations leadership to define requirements, project scope, and timelines
- Proactively identify emerging trends, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement resolutions
- Lead and execute complex projects focused on process optimization, onboarding new partners, and introducing new product offerings
- Provide subject matter expertise to engineering and product teams throughout project lifecycles, including conducting UAT and providing final sign-off
- Respond to complex internal and external inquiries related to cross-border disbursements
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting on metrics, investigations, and other operational needs
What you’ll bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze diverse situations and data to recommend actionable solutions
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., JasperSoft, Looker, Excel)
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing multiple medium- to high-complexity projects simultaneously
- Data Expertise: Experience leveraging analytical frameworks and tools to solve complex problems and align stakeholders
- Process Documentation: Skilled in analyzing, documenting, and updating processes to improve team efficiency and performance
- Collaboration: Ability to work across multiple teams and effectively communicate insights to non-technical audiences
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a focus on clear, actionable communication
- Adaptability: Thrives in agile, dynamic environments while responding to shifting priorities
