The Analyst, Insurance Risk Management will actively deliver value-added centralized insurance risk management services to Enbridge through the Insurance Operating Model framework. Leveraging analytical, financial modelling skills, communication, and problem-solving skills, candidate will support, carry and out and continuously improve insurance team operations.

What You Will Do:

Strategy, Standards & Processes

  • Support delivery of insurance strategy and adherence to standards.

  • Maintain consistency in assigned tasks.

  • Assist stakeholders in integrating insurance processes into business workflows.
     

Procurement & Management

  • Support annual insurance renewal submissions.

  • Assist with insurance procurement: data collection, documentation, invoicing, and record management.

  • Administer the surety bond portfolio, including placements, renewals, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for insurance costs.
     

Advisory

  • Conduct basic insurance contract reviews using established tools.

  • Support improvement of ACRE (AI-enabled contract review tool).
     

Claims

  • Assist with claims handling and recovery activities in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Support loss reporting, including reserves and paid loss tracking.
     

Culture & Environment

  • Identify and address process or stakeholder issues proactively.

  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

  • Support innovation opportunities, including technology and AI integration.
     

Who You Are:

Required:

  • Experience in insurance, claims management or business analysis roles

  • Related post-secondary education.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written communication, independent planning and time management abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage large, multi-faceted projects that may vary in nature and scope and predictability.

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications.

  • Ability to be innovative and see the broader picture in the approach of risk management issues.
     

Preferred:

  • Willingness to pursue insurance designation (CIP, FCIP, CRM, ARM or equivalent).

  • Working knowledge of insurance policy language, industry standards, risk management practices and principles.
     

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment

  • Business travel (global) 5% or less

  • As requested, visits at field locations in support of insurance risk assessment processes
