PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS:
- Assurer la gestion des projets de solutions d'intelligence d'affaires pour l'intégration des nouveaux clients;
- Travailler avec l'équipe de développement et le groupe des TI pour concevoir des outils d'analyse de rapports à usage interne et externe;
- Travailler avec les clients internes et externes pour dresser une liste exhaustive des exigences et les consigner officiellement;
- Travailler avec l'équipe technique pour établir des protocoles normalisés d'extraction des données provenant de différentes sources;
- Avoir une bonne compréhension et une expérience pratique des modèles de données transactionnelles et dimensionnelles;
- Créer des solutions pour les clients (internes et externes) dans plusieurs formats, y compris Excel, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Enterprise;
- Analyser de grandes quantités de données afin de fournir des rapports concis et ciblés pour les clients internes et externes;
- Former les utilisateurs finaux des outils analytiques développés par l'équipe de Veille stratégique;
- Rédiger des documents fonctionnels ou techniques.
- L'analyste - Veille stratégique se verra également confier d'autres fonctions et tâches au besoin de temps à autre, y compris des voyages éventuels (5%).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide project management for BI solutions for new customer implementations
- Working with the development team and IT group to design reporting analysis tools for internal and external use;
- Work with external and internal customers to gather comprehensive requirements and document them formally
- Working with the technical team to establish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sources;
- Good understanding and working experience of transactional and dimensional data models
- Creating solutions for clients (internal and external) in a number of formats, including Excel, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Enterprise;
- Analyzing large amounts of data to provide concise, targeted reports for internal and external clients;
- Training of end users on the analytical tools developed by the Business Intelligence team;
- Writing functional and/or technical documents
- The Business Intelligence Analyst will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time and including possible travel (5%)
EXPÉRIENCE ET SCOLARITÉ REQUISES:
- Baccalauréat ou diplôme supérieur, de préférence dans les domaines de systèmes d'information, des sciences informatiques ou l'équivalent;
- Minimum de 7 à 10ans d'expérience directe du poste d'analyste - Veille stratégique;
- Connaissances de travail avancées avec MS Office, SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports;
- Bonne compréhension et expérience des bases de données, de SQL et des scripts;
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais), un atout;
- Solides capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes;
- Connaissance des techniques de conception et de modélisation des bases de données et des processus d'extraction, de transformation et de chargement;
- Expérience de l'industrie pharmaceutique ou de l'industrie de la distribution en gros, un atout;
- Expérience en gestion de projets de TI, un atout;
- Capacité à interpréter les modèles de données et à comprendre les structures et les relations des bases de données;
- Solides compétences en matière de présentation orale et écrite;
- Excellente capacité à recueillir et à analyser les exigences en matière de rapports;
- Capacité à travailler efficacement avec différentes fonctions et au sein d'une petite équipe;
- Excellente capacité à travailler en équipe et ne pas craindre de faire des commentaires;
- Toute autre attestation fournie par l'industrie, un atout.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or above qualification preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in Business Analytics position(s);
- Advanced working knowledge with MS Office, SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports
- Good understanding and knowledge of working with Databases, SQL and scripts.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Familiar with Database design and modeling techniques, and ETL process.
- Experience with pharmaceutical industry or wholesale distribution industry would be an asset;
- Experience with IT project management would be an asset;
- Ability to read data models and comprehend database structures and relationships;
- Strong oral and written presentation skills;
- Strong ability to gather and analyze report requirements;
- Works well cross-functionally and within a small team;
- Excellent team player, and is not afraid to offer feedback.
- Any additional industry certifications would be an asset
