Position Summary:
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is seeking an Associate Executive Director (AED) to join our dynamic team. As the leading organization dedicated to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis, we are committed to improving the lives of people with CF and their families. The AED supports the Executive Director in managing the Tier 1 chapter. They lead the chapter to foster a collaborative, donor-centric culture among staff, donors, volunteers, care center professionals, corporate sponsors, and national partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with leadership to develop revenue goals, annual goals, and operational budgets.
Assist in achieving chapter revenue through managing events or campaigns.
Supervise development staff in event logistics and implementation of events.
Recruit, cultivate, nurture corporate relationships, and sponsors.
Network with CF families, volunteers, donors, and community members.
Collaborate with chapter leadership to develop volunteer recruitment initiatives and recruit volunteers.
Lead individual giving, manage major gift, and annual fund donors.
Ensure effective chapter operations.
Effectively resolve chapter issues with staff, volunteers, and donors.
Communicate CF Compass service opportunities to key leaders, event participants, care team members, and community members.
Recruit, interview, hire, orient, mentor, and train staff collaboratively with area leadership.
Ensure compliance with audit and financial requirements.
Supervise event forecasts for accurate revenue and expense tracking.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
Minimum of eight years related non-profit experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Initiative, follow-through, and sound judgment.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Executive Director. Leads and manages chapter staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work nights and weekends, as necessary.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to meetings or events.
Sitting, bending, reaching, and walking.
Some heavy lifting may be required.

The salary range is $108,800.00 to $135,800.00.
