About Us:
Every 30 minutes, a stroke patient who could have been saved dies or is permanently disabled because they were treated in the wrong hospital. Our mission is to increase the number of patients treated in stroke-ready hospitals and to optimize the quality of treatment in all existing stroke centers. We are building a global community of stroke centers and stroke-ready hospitals, working every day to improve the quality of treatment for every stroke patient.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

As an Associate Market Access Specialist, you will:

  • Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients,
  • support hospitals, EMS, and healthcare professionals with continuous training and organizational tools,
  • promote new diagnostic and treatment guidelines to hospitals as an expert Therapeutic Consultant,
  • promote quality monitoring programs to ensure consistent performance of hospitals and EMS,
  • extend the reach of the project to new hospitals,
  • lead multidisciplinary stroke teams through continuous improvement,
  • improve therapeutic protocols in major hospitals.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong scientific background – ideally PhD in Neuroscience,
  • high motivation with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills,
  • fluency in English,
  • flexible, solution-oriented with problem-solving skills,
  • accountability and ownership,
  • resilient and able to operate effectively in fast-paced environments,
  • experience in the healthcare environment, including work with healthcare organizations and healthcare professionals,
  • actively seeks opportunities to improve processes and outcomes,
  • valid Kenyan driving license; experienced driver,
  • availability to travel up to 70% of the time,
  • eligibility to work full time in Kenya.
