Overview

We are seeking an experienced Journeymen Electrician with experience in automation to support day to day operations, provide technical guidance, and coordinate automation field activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, hands‑on automation experience, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Coordination
  • Answer incoming calls and dispatch automation crews as required.
  • Coordinate daily workflows to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Create and manage sales orders.

Technical & Field Work

  • Perform field work as needed, including occasional out‑of‑town assignments.
  • Provide phone support for customers regarding programming and technical issues.
  • Work with certifying bodies to convert or prepare equipment requiring certification.

Equipment & Build Responsibilities

  • Complete builds and programming for:
    • VFDs
    • DBRs
    • Bolt‑on RPOCs
    • FCT controllers
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels of automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to source and order required components.
  • Support forecasting of VFD sales in collaboration with Operations manager and sales team.

Qualifications

  • Journeymen Electrician 
  • Experience in automation, electrical, or a related technical field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Customer‑focused problem‑solving ability.
  • On‑site Requirement: Must reside locally.
  • Travel Requirement: ability to travel to remote field locations.
