Bilingual (French and English) Project Manager (6-months Contract with opportunity for extension)

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing French projects according to established deadlines, scope, and budget. 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for solution design support, project management and planning through all phases of a project lifecycle as part of the Document Solutions & Services (DS&S) team;
  • End-to-End Project Management - design, develop and maintain Gantt charts and project management plan for each assigned account;
  • Coordinate and manage internal Ricoh resources to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Where required, coordinate support of Business Analyst in auditing and analyzing customer workflows, processes and conducting discoveries within project time-lines;
  • Establish and execute comprehensive project governance program for each project;
  • Establish and maintain formal RAID (Risk Action Issue Decision) log and review cadence;
  • Participate in executive presentations, customer events and cascade knowledge of applicable solutions to field sales operations (strategy session, training involvement);
  • Primary resource for escalation of project issues/concerns within accounts to ensure timely execution and delivery;
  • Support engagement with 3rd party solution provider team to support customer implementations;
  • Business Case and RFP development/response support, Professional service revenue generation;
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a project structure or technology deployment/installation role.
  • Project Management certification preferred PMP (CAPM, ITIL Foundation, Prince2 Foundation, CompTIA Project+)
  • Other recognized professional certifications (IT, Accounting, Engineering) an asset

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Candidate must by fluently bilingual in French and English (written and spoken fluent) as they will be managing French Customers/Projects
  • Good level of proficiency in PMI fundamentals and methodology, and functional with MS Project
  • Working knowledge of IT industry applications, networking, device connectivity, scanning, printing and document management technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (specifically in Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)
  • Some travel (more than 10%) required due to customer and project needs
