As an HR Generalist with a focus on Talent Acquisition, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department by assisting with various HR functions. You will work closely with the HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and policies. Your primary responsibilities will include Recruitment & Co-op Program, Compliance/Legal, Health & Safety, and Vendor Management & TPRM.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruitment & Co-op Program:Assist in the recruitment process for all positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Support the co-op program by coordinating with educational institutions, onboarding co-op students, and ensuring a positive experience for both students and hiring managers.
- Compliance/Legal:Support compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and provide guidance to managers and employees on compliance-related matters. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Health & Safety:Assist in developing and implementing health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits, provide training on safety protocols, and manage workplace injury and illness reporting.
- Vendor Management & TPRM:Support vendor management and third-party risk management (TPRM) processes. Assist in evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and the areas mentioned above.
- Fluently bilingual in French and English an asset.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
