The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services Finance – this role will be part of a team of specialists supporting leaders across corporate with external expenditures. Recent business bachelor’s degree graduates (or similar) and those with limited work experience are eligible for this opportunity.
Our Corporate Services Finance team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support vendor managers with purchase requisition and invoicing activities. We are seeking an inquisitive Business Analyst who is a strong communicator and capable of reliably completing tasks. This individual has the proven ability to think innovatively, problem solve effectively, and train others.
What you’ll do
Prepare purchase requisitions requests efficiently and in line with corporate governance
Work with buyers in supply chain to create purchase orders
Proactively support vendor managers to complete payments on time
Reconcile invoices and payments for purchase orders
Reconcile 3rd party spend
Support vendor managers with processing invoices
Minimum Qualifications
Business bachelor’s degree (or similar certification)
High competency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Up to a maximum of three years of professional discipline-related work experience, not including co-op or internship work term
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP, Power BI, Power Automate
Knowledgeable of the oil and gas industry
