What You'll Bring:

  •  Minimum of 7 years in sales or solution engineering or architect roles in the telecommunications industry, with an emphasis on carrier and enterprise voice services and dialing platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise voice business and dialing platforms and consulting, along with current best practices and emerging trends.
  • Proven track record of building partnerships and interfacing at the C level. In addition, major account experience in a matrix environment with expertise in navigating large complex organizations, identifying buyers, influencers, and closing business.
  • Relationships within the carrier and/or enterprise voice services and dialing platform space.
  • Experience in complex contract/legal negotiations.
  • Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Articulate, persuasive and engaging communication style. Ability to be persistent in a pleasant fashion.
  • Track-record of sales experience, specializing in carrier and enterprise voice services and dialing platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of the Canadian carrier and enterprise telephony business and consulting, along with current best practices and emerging trends.
  • Strong analytical skills. Able to engage technical and business leadership responsible for enterprise voice services.
  • Understanding of banking, financial services & insurance (BFSI), Fintechs, Retail and related industry challenges and needs.
  • Experience with value based selling methodology using ROI and TCO models, rather than competing on features & functions or price.
  • Ability to identify strategic client challenges and develop unique and compelling value propositions that focus on delivering business value to the client.
  • A general understanding of the ever-evolving regulatory requirements and their applicability, an asset.
  • Willingness for purposeful travel.

Impact You'll Make:

TransUnion is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our successful Sales organization, focused on our suite of Trusted Call Solutions. This hunter sales position is accountable for achieving annual new business and revenue goals through customer relationship development, opportunity prioritization, consultative sales, and superior negotiation and closing skills, generating growth to customers and prospects.  This key role will be responsible for prospecting and selling our Trusted Call Solutions to the top segments / verticals of customers and prospects. This role emphasizes penetration of “greenfield” clients, cross sell opportunities within existing TransUnion customers, and growth through delivery of strategic solution initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targets by solution, segment and geographies for new and existing clients supported by strong partnership with core sales, Client success, product and product marketing partner teams.
  • Set and execute net new business acquisition sales strategies to generate growth in revenue and bookings. 
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue and pipeline on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships and implement strategies for expansion within the existing customer base.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM and ensure a strong lead pipeline in order to exceed sales quota objectives.
  • Anticipate client changes and act on them quickly.
  • Effectively partner with key regional stakeholders and sellers across the Canadian region to ensure a high level of collaboration and teamwork to drive business goals with desired banking, financial services & insurance (BFSI), Fintechs, Retail, and related industry challenges and needs.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
