Overview

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll get to identify, engage, and sell new customer business and convert lost business, building a book of $3M-$5M annually! You’ll focus efforts on relationship building, customer retention and incremental growth, and help sell our entire organization’s portfolio. The RBDM will have a competitive base salary and commissions plan!  


What You'll Do
  • Generate new sales for products or services by cold calling aligned businesses
  • Act on and close sales leads generated from inbound inquiries (website/CRM/phone/etc)
  • Achieve regional sales and operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans and quotas
  • Maintain and expand customer base by collaborating with the sales team, building and maintaining rapport with key customers
What You'll Need
  • College diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years of experience working within a CRM – HubSpot preferred
  • Proven experience in developing and carrying out business plans, sales plans
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales and results with all levels of customers
  • Ability to travel about the region to visit with customers
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage effectively in a fast-paced business with simultaneous priorities

Pay RangeCAD $75,000.00 - CAD $85,000.00 /Yr.
