About the role

SwiftComply is adding a new BDR to our growing team! We are a fast-paced company with a mission to modernize water compliance and empower cities, utilities, and businesses with tools that help protect the environment and public health. If this excites you, this role offers the chance to contribute to the sales pipeline, connect with mission-driven organizations, and make a real impact.

In this role you’ll connect with prospective customers to spark interest and schedule initial meetings with our sales team.

What you'll do
  • Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base, focusing on introducing additional SwiftComply modules and solutions
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to align on target accounts, priorities, and cross-sell strategy
  • Engage customers through targeted outreach to generate interest
  • Understand current customer usage and uncover gaps where additional solutions can add value
  • Qualify cross-sell opportunities by mapping customer needs to relevant SwiftComply offerings
  • Schedule and support discovery and follow-up conversations for Sales
  • Maintain accurate tracking of outreach, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM
  • Monitor progress against cross-sell pipeline and revenue targets
  • Test and refine messaging to improve engagement and conversion for specific product expansions
  • Share customer insights and common cross-sell signals with internal teams to strengthen go-to-market efforts
  • Receive coaching from internal and external mentors
Who you are 


Experiences that could help you succeed in this role include:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a BDR/SDR or doing other outbound sales
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable engaging with people and building rapport quickly
  • Curious and genuinely interested in learning about government programs
  • Comfortable doing research on public-sector prospects
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and continuously improve
  • Organized, detail-oriented and keeping clear notes/ records
  • Resilient and persistent - with the ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving company
  • Self-driven - comfortable working remotely and proactive about working with teammates
  • Comfortable working with tools such as CRMs and sales engagement platforms

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working with public sector customers such as utilities or municipalities
  • Experience in SaaS or technology sales
  • Exposure to Customer Success, Account Management, or expansion sales motions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Compensation

CAD$60k base + on-target commission of CAD$20k (uncapped)
