THE POSITION

Keyera is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the Asset Management Solutions Team within IT.  Asset Management Solutions primarily supports Keyera’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) application (IBM Maximo). Maximo is utilized to support a wide range of business teams and processes at Keyera.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will assist with day-to-day support, data analytics, troubleshooting, and ongoing development of the Maximo system.  The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with teams across Keyera to build business knowledge and develop meaningful solutions.

This position is based in our Calgary office and occasional travel to Keyera sites may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In collaboration with other team members, assist with day-to-day operations of the Maximo system:

  • General user inquires and support

  • User and security setup

  • Data exports and imports

  • Application, integration, and database troubleshooting

  • Infrastructure and application performance management

• Design and develop technical solutions for Maximo improvements, changes, and fixes

• Participate in the review of design and technical documentation delivered by projects and peers to ensure consistency of solutions and alignment to Keyera’s Maximo standards

• Provide backup support for various other applications when required

• Build strong working relationships with IT colleagues and business partners

• Other relevant duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of IT experience supporting enterprise applications

• 3+ years of supporting and working with Maximo from an IT capacity

• Experience working within IT operational frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.) and ITSM tools

• Relational databases (SQL or Oracle) – ability to combine and manipulate data sets using SQL

• Understanding of IT architecture foundational principles

• Knowledge of structured programming languages (Java/Python/C)
