The Opportunity

Our Change Management Center of Expertise (CoE) is seeking an innovative #EnergyProblemSolver to support the strategic development and governance of our change management function. The Change Management Advisor will play a critical role in driving consistency across our change management practices, building organizational change capabilities, and ensuring a standardized approach to managing transformational initiatives. 

The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening our change management governance infrastructure by developing frameworks, tools, and resources that create a unified methodology across TC Energy. You'll be instrumental in maintaining rigorous change management standards, supporting knowledge sharing, and providing comprehensive support to corporate and business unit teams to ensure a cohesive and disciplined approach to organizational changeBy joining our team, you'll be essential in: 

  • Advancing our change management maturity and capabilities 
  • Establishing and maintaining change management governance protocols and driving consistency and standardization of change management practices 
  • Creating scalable knowledge management solutions 
  • Supporting enterprise-wide strategic priorities 
  • Facilitating organizational learning and development 
  • Providing tactical support to change initiatives across the company 

This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of change management, governance, and operational excellence, making meaningful contributions to how TC Energy manages transformation and change with a structured and consistent approach to change. 

What you’ll do:

Change management Center of Expertise governance support: 

  • Support the build and maturity of the CoE, including the introduction and ongoing management of any new programs or resources (e.g. Office Hours, Community of Practice) 
  • Develop and maintain change management frameworks, tools, templates or other resources 
  • Support continuous learning and knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining knowledge repositories (Pulse database, lessons learned approach) 
  • Manage CoE content and collateral and maintain SharePoint sites, HR Change Management sites, Teams channels, team surveys, etc. 
  • Support the execution of annual change management goals and strategic priorities 
  • Develop and manage enterprise level change management dashboards, reporting and performance tracking tools 

Change management delivery and execution support: 

  • Facilitate ad hoc or one-time change management assessments (e.g. impact assessment, stakeholder assessment, change management risk dialogue), as assigned 
  • Provide delivery and execution support for small/part time change initiatives or projects, as assigned 
  • Provide miscellaneous change support to the Corporate Function or Business Unit change delivery teams, as assigned 

Team operations support: 

  • Support development of materials for ELT, senior leadership or other CoE presentation materials as required 
  • Provide support for general team administration and operations activities (e.g. coordinate team meetings, plan offsite events, monitor Change CoE email) 
  • Develop onboarding materials for Change Management Specialists 
  • Facilitate new team member onboarding 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or related field 
  • 3-5 years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, or HR operations 
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to develop clear, logical and well-formatted presentations 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other digital collaboration tools (eg. Slido, Whiteboard)  
  • Strong administrative and project coordination skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) 
  • Experience supporting change initiatives, business transformations or operational excellence teams 
  • Presentation skills and ability to lead and/or facilitate workshops 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data visualization and reporting 
  • Proven ability to balance multiple and competing priorities within tight timelines  
  • Experience in supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Experience in developing and maintaining operational frameworks and resources
