Department OverviewThis role reports into the Central Region’s Sales Director for Pelco. Motorola Solution’s Video Security & Access Control Division (VS&A) is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end-solutions and award-winning AI based surveillance systems. Job Description

Looking for a dynamic and experienced Channel Development Manager - Central to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting and developing channel partner relationships to drive revenue growth and market expansion for Pelco. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of channel sales, partner management, and business development. The Channel Development Manager - Central will work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify target integrators, opportunities, develop strategies, and execute plans that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, driving sales through indirect channels, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and organization skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Channel Development Manager - Central will also be responsible for analyzing regional market trends, identifying new partnership opportunities, and providing insights to improve channel performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new channel partners

  • Manage and grow relationships with new channel partners

  • Provide training and support to channel partners, including regional distribution

  • Monitor and analyze channel performance and provide regular reports

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align channel strategies with business objectives

  • Develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns to support channel sales

  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services

  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise with channel partners

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel sales

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop joint sales strategies

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on channel development activities

Additional Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams

  • Results-oriented with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated experience in building business relationships with channel partners, integrators and 3rd party technology providers

  • Ability to understand and communicate the big picture while being able to be detail oriented about execution

  • Self-motivated, results-driven with a strong sense of urgency

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Able to navigate a highly-matrixed organization and gain trust with leaders across multiple layers 

  • Ability to travel regionally, minimum of 25%-50% by air and car 

Target Base Salary Range: $50,700 - $110,400 

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
