Responsibilities / Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, offering actionable insights and recommendations to managerial staff.
  • Provide strategic advice on investment opportunities and financial plans.
  • Safeguard the financial health of the organization through effective monitoring and management.
  • Evaluate costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and overall performance compared to business objectives.
  • Identify financial trends and develop forward-looking projections.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Direct the operations of the finance department, establishing objectives and creating frameworks to achieve them.
  • Lead the preparation and management of the company’s budget.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate financial monitoring and compliance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align company strategies and future initiatives.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Financial Manager role or similar position.
  • Background in financial analysis or related roles in the financial sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial trends within the company and broader market conditions.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to guide and lead teams to uphold effective financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA are highly desirable.
