This position is responsible for the operational account management responsibilities for assigned Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and state plan accounts to include oversight of contract performance and will serve as the client/account liaison with an emphasis on developing and executing tactical plans to achieve relationship, retention, and growth goals. This role will operate within the field and is interacting predominantly through written and verbal channels.

  • Works cross functionally with key internal teams to ensure management, define, implement, oversee performance measures and operational goals for managed care contracts/accounts.
  • Identifies, addresses and resolves operational and/or account related issues to provide optimal problem resolution.
  • Provides on-going feedback regarding status of contract and opportunities for improvement to leadership.
  • Participates in oversight of contract management to include data analysis and operational reporting.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in regards to extracting and analyzing data using various tools (proprietary software, excel, access, etc.)
  • Serves as a client/account liaison for all assigned contracts.
  • Owns full responsibility for developing and implementing operations and corporate policies and procedures to comply with contract requirements.
  • Provides contract implementation support and serve as a training resource as required.
  • Supports Corporate Operations in areas of data analysis and reporting.
  • Champions new technology improvements and corporate initiatives where appropriate to the Client.
  • Attends and facilitates client meetings (Weekly Touch base/Monthly JOC) as needed in collaboration with internal leadership.
  • Communicates to Account Management, key Client insights including opportunities for enhanced service and/or expanded offerings.
  • Ensures that organization is compliant to contractual expectations.
  • Creates a best in-class experience for their account stakeholders including their members; including but not limited to contract retention and identifying growth opportunities within their accounts.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
  • Seven (7) plus years of experience in Health Care, Health Plans, Managed Care and/or Provider Relations experience preferred
  • Demonstrated contract analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with external customers, individuals, families, mental health, elder services and facilities programs
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective communications and correspondence with internal and external management and clients
  • Requires solid presentation skills
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Requires strong analytical skills; strong attention to numbers; and strong attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to constant change; self-driven and motivated; able to prioritize and work independently
  • Must have strong work ethic
  • Must be technologically competent with Microsoft office products to include Excel, Access, Word, Windows, Project, Outlook, etc.

Salary: $69,900 - $94,400 annually

This role is commission-eligible.
