Division: Group Savings & Retirement Location: Ideally located in Vancouver or Calgary but would be open to candidates residing in BC or Alberta Status: Full time Way of Working: Hybrid with one day per month in the office for Team Meeting

Are you known for your service mentality and interpersonal skills? Are you familiar with group retirement savings plans? The position of Client Relationship Manager may be the perfect role for you!

Thanks to your leadership, influencing and strong social skills, and service mindset, you will build relationships with our clients and contribute to the achievement of Group Savings & Retirement service team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a dedicated resource for our clients based in Western Canada by establishing, developing and managing valuable relationships with them.

  • Provide in-depth training on our products, tools and services to English- and French-speaking customers across Canada

  • Understand customer needs and identify satisfactory solutions while respecting iA Financial Group's capabilities and service standards

  • Respond and acknowledge requests within prescribed timeframes

  • Proactively communicate with and inform customers about our products and services, as well as any changes, legislative or otherwise, that affect the pension plan.

  • Contribute to the team's success by participating in internal meetings and workshops, sharing your experience, knowledge and advice.

What we are looking for:

  • University degree (B.A. ) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, financial planning or customer service-In-depth knowledge and experience of pension plans, and solid technical skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to convince and plan (written and oral skills)

  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit

  • Excellent judgment and ability to influence and negotiate, focus on business development.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint

  • Course in Canadian securities trading OR mutual fund license OR Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation OR life insurance license, an asset

  • Bilingualism in French (both written and spoken) would be an asset

  • Available to travel as needed to meet with clients (personal vehicle and driver's license required).

Compensation

The typical hiring base salary range for this position is from $70,000 and $90,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus .
