Reporting to the Manager, Client Success, the Client Success Manager plays a critical role in achieving client success goals by managing and expanding relationships with some of Blackline Safety's largest customers and distribution partners, ensuring they derive maximum value from our innovative safety solutions. Key priorities include driving growth and expansion within client portfolios, executing $1M+ deals, and building strategic, long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and execute growth opportunities within accounts, collaborating with sales management to achieve expansion targets. 
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth. 
  • Prepare and deliver tailored business reviews (annual, quarterly, etc.), demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and account dynamics. 
  • Leverage project management principles to develop and execute comprehensive customer account plans. 
  • Collaborate across teams and with distribution partners to address customer needs and ensure seamless delivery of Blackline Safety solutions. 
  • Proactively address and resolve customer concerns, mobilizing internal resources to improve customer satisfaction and product offerings. 
  • Continuously communicate the value and benefits of Blackline’s product portfolio to customers. 
  • Provide strategic feedback to the product management team on trends impacting customer needs and growth opportunities. 
  • Enhance processes for efficiency and effectiveness while contributing to the team’s overall success. 
  • Represent Blackline Safety as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize the value of their safety investments. 
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

Skills/Qualifications/Education:

  • Proven experience in business development or account management with a track record of closing $1M+ deals.
  • Previous experience in high-performance sports or team environments, demonstrating collaboration and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities, with demonstrated success in engaging diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with ERP and CRM applications.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract and present actionable insights from data.
  • Experience in industries related to gas detection, safety, or similar fields is strongly desired.
  • Availability to travel up to 15%.
