About the role
As a Cloud Platform Specialist, you help improve our main infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and tools that support our Company's Cloud Platform. You will work with development and architecture teams to make sure our cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient, helping us deliver high-quality software products and services.
What you’ll do here:

Work with the Architecture team to plan and design cloud infrastructure across different clouds (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure), making sure it aligns with the company's long-term goals.

Ability in implementing and delivery with focus on high quality results in tight deadlines.

Collaborate with various groups including Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Vendors to garner support, resources, and drive results throughout project lifecycle, from Ideation, design, delivery, operation, and maintenance.

Help develop a cloud strategy focusing on scalability, security, and innovation, while being cost-effective and compliant with industry standards.

Advise management on cloud technologies and trends to guide decision-making and strategic direction.

Promote the use of advanced cloud solutions, including AI and machine learning, to keep us competitive and support business growth.

Manage migrations of important business applications to cloud environments, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

Set up and enforce cloud governance frameworks to manage risks, meet regulations, and ensure data security and integrity.

Lead the selection of cloud technologies and tools, creating a strong ecosystem that supports our technical and business goals.

Encourage continuous improvement, focusing on best practices for cloud architecture and management.

Work with platform teams to develop, test, debug, and quickly release scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native applications.

Develop and improve self-service cloud infrastructure tools and Cloud Native Application CI/CD Pipelines, empowering developers with cutting-edge solutions.

Recommend and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiencies, making the best use of resources and vendor software.

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on our business.
What you bring to the table:

At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing.
-
Proven experience in developing and executing cloud strategies for large organizations, with deep knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Successful track record of leading cloud migration and transformation projects, effectively managing risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management; cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security) are a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating technical challenges into strategic solutions that add business value1.

Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor technical teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across departments.

Excellent documentation skills, capable of summarizing cases clearly.

Ability to write clean and efficient code in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang, Bash), following best practices in software development.

Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and modern software development practices.

In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, focusing on optimizing and streamlining development workflows.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
