We are open to remote candidate's across Canada. Those outside of Ontario will be asked to work EST hrs.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a Content Author to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content according to our clients’ business goals and brand requirements. Our ideal candidate is a quick-learning, detail-oriented self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a knack for problem solving.

The ability to work well within a team and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Plus, candidates must possess a creative, open-minded and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, and have a solid track record of successfully delivering complex projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain content in multiple Content Management Systems (CMS) for our clients websites
- Collaborate with dealerships and design teams to plan, develop and implement site content, style and layout
- Supporting on technical integrations with the development teams and troubleshooting technical issues
- Crop, compress, transfer and manage visual assets to Digital Asset Management Systems for use on client websites
- Practice quality assurance for the work of yourself and your peers
- Deploy / activate website content on a consistent schedule
- Liaise with content writers & product specialists to ensure accuracy & brand consistency
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that CMS components are able to support our content and accessibility requirements
- Implement legal and compliance requirements (e.g. copyright, accessibility, data protection, and legal disclaimers)
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and generate new ideas to draw user’s attention
Requirements

- A calm and patient demeanor under pressure
Nice to have
- Previous work experience as a Content manager/author
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, Photoshop, and content management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Issue tracking tools (ie: Jira) a plus
- Working knowledge of Corporate wiki tools (ie: Confluence) a plus
- Working knowledge of WCAG AA Accessibility standards a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website development
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
