THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to coordinate, plan and provide support regarding community investment activities, external affairs activities, conferences, brand promotion and awareness, communications activities, and stakeholder management. Reporting to the Manager of Communications, this role will interact with and coordinate multiple internal and external partners and hold relationships with key stakeholders. This role will also be the main point of contact and coordination with colleagues in Malaysia.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

Working with the Communications and External Affairs teams to develop a yearly external conference and sponsorship plan

Coordinating current memberships, including contracts and payments

Serving as the main point of contact with event organizers, including table/seat purchases and invoicing

Coordinating activation of all external events, including all internal approvals, and internal and external communications materials.

Help develop PETRONAS Canada’s Social Impact program, supporting the communities in which we operate

Assist with the development and execute a company branded swag program to help boost the company’s brand presence in Canada
WHAT YOU BRING:
-
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3 or more years of experience in project management and/or relevant communications/external affairs or Community Investment experience

Strong written and verbal communications skills

A proven track record of innovative thinking and demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement

Proven expertise in organization and time management, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in interacting with all levels within an organization, using your exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups and effectively engage others in support of projects and initiatives. Your ability to inspire, persuade, influence, and motivate partners will be key to fostering engagement and driving results
