Job Description
Overview:
As a member of the Communities team, the Community Ambassador serves as a brand steward and storyteller, responsible for delivering current information about our residential communities. The Community Ambassador acts as the primary point of contact for our guests visiting the Sales Centers, ensuring consistently high levels of customer experience. They perform daily duties in a friendly and professional manner, aiming to ensure every guest enjoys a pleasant and memorable experience.
Hours of Work
This position is a casual, part-time role with up to 34 hours per week. It offers flexible work hours, training, and opportunities for career growth.
Show Home Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 2pm – 8pm
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: 12pm – 5pm
The Community Ambassador is required to arrive 15 minutes before the Sales Centre opens to ensure it is prepared for visitors.
A valid drivers license and vehicle is required to travel to communities.
Key Deliverables:

Act as a community brand ambassador and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Familiarize yourself with the community's vision and amenities.

Collaborate with builders and advocate for the community.

Manage guest flow, including greeting and ensuring they feel welcomed. Provide information on the community, Residents Association (HOA), and Brookfield.

Inform guests about progress, programs, and events.

Coordinate with relevant departments to address inquiries promptly.

Assist Residents Associations and Brookfield with program and event planning. Attend all training sessions and actively participate in team meetings.

Maintain Sales Centres in excellent condition: tidy and well-stocked with marketing collateral.

Handle general administration tasks such as answering calls, emails, and managing voicemail.

Perform light cleaning and other assigned duties.
What You Bring:

Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills; sales or customer service related experience is preferred.

Experience within the home building or real estate industry is an asset. Experience in event planning is an asset.

Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills to effectively work in diverse environments.

Ability to handle interactions with sensitivity, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism at all times.
