Job Description

Your Team

As a Community Manager, you are the senior on-site sales leader and decision-maker for your assigned community. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you lead the sales centre team and work in close partnership with Construction, Estimating, Design, Marketing, and Leadership to drive strong business results and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
 

You set the standard for professionalism, accountability, and customer focus while acting as a brand ambassador for Brookfield Residential. Through hands-on leadership, coaching, and strategic execution, you build a high-performing sales team and create a culture of ownership and results.

Your Key Deliverables

  • Own and execute the community sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue, absorption, and conversion targets

  • Drive daily sales performance through disciplined execution, data-informed decision-making, and strong personal sales leadershi

  • Actively prospect, network, and cultivate referral relationships to generate new business opportunities

  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activity to ensure competitive product positioning

  • Maintain strong traffic-to-offer and offer-to-sale conversion performance

  • Ensure all sales contracts, documentation, and approvals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

  • Champion a customer-first mindset and take ownership of the end-to-end customer journey

  • Proactively manage and resolve customer concerns during sales and post-possession, escalating when required

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Construction to support accurate communication, smooth starts, and timely home delivery

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance and development conversations

  • Ensure sales centres, show homes, and inventory consistently meet brand and merchandising standards

  • Partner with Marketing on community-specific campaigns, lead generation, and website accuracy

  • Maintain deep knowledge of competitor pricing, plans, and incentives, and share insights with leadership
     

Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years of new home sales experience with a strong performance track record

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams of 2–5 employees

  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets

  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to lead through influence and accountability

  • Confident decision-making skills with a results-driven, solutions-oriented leadership style

  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, BuildPro, or Newstar is an asset

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
