The Mission

The internet is full of dead chat rooms managed by passive moderators who do nothing but copy-paste announcements and drop generic welcome emojis. That isn't what we are building. We need a front-line cultural catalyst to take total ownership of the Partyhat ecosystem, inject it with relentless energy, and scale our community spaces into a high-utility powerhouse. This is a high-availability role for a digital tribal leader who understands that an active, fiercely loyal community is the ultimate competitive advantage in the 24/7 Web3 economy.

We don't care about traditional corporate credentials—we care about charisma, emotional intelligence, and a track record of commanding digital rooms. If you know how to navigate the chaotic pulse of online subcultures, keep thousands of users hyped through high-velocity product cycles, and turn raw chat volume into an organized asset, we will give you the complete creative sovereignty to run our home base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culture Architecture: Mainframe and cultivate the daily energy, tone, and engagement across all core community spaces (Discord, Telegram, and emerging digital channels).

  • Ambassador Engineering: Recruit, train, and manage an elite global team of moderators and community champions, establishing clear 24/7 coverage protocols.

  • Event Orchestration: Conceptualize, launch, and host high-velocity community initiatives—from live audio spaces and digital tournaments to viral interactive campaigns.

  • Feedback Synthesis: Act as the critical human bridge between our users and the product team, transforming unstructured chat feedback into clear, actionable development data.

  • Crisis Management: Command real-time issue resolution and sentiment control during high-traffic product launches, technical surges, or market volatility with cold, level-headed precision.

  • Onboarding Logic: Optimize the initial community entry funnel, ensuring new arrivals are instantly educated, welcomed, and integrated into active ecosystem participation loops.

The Requirements
  • The "People Catalyst": Proven experience building, scaling, or managing highly active online communities. You understand user retention, tribal psychology, and how to keep a digital room alive.

  • Narrative Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can write sharp, engaging announcements and defuse high-stakes situations effortlessly in real-time.

  • Hyper-Availability: This isn't a 9-to-5. Digital communities are alive 24/7, and the heaviest engagement waves happen on nights and weekends. You must be available 7 days a week to pilot the ship and handle critical surges.

  • Web3 Literacy: You possess a native fluency in the Web3 landscape. You live on-chain, intuitively understand the psychology of digital asset communities, and speak their language naturally.

  • Operational Excellence: Self-motivated and highly structured; you can manage massive, chaotic multi-channel message boards without losing track of core analytics, moderation schedules, or brand protocols.

Operational Details
  • Location: Fully Remote.

  • Schedule: On-call 7 days a week (Requires high flexibility to orchestrate global, 24/7 community coverage).

  • Payment: All compensation is processed in digital assets (USDC/USDT).

Why Join Us?

We offer more than just a typical community management role; we offer the chance to command the engine room of a global powerhouse.

  • Extreme Autonomy: We value cultural resonance and output over red tape. You will have the freedom to test wild ideas and build the community experience your way.

  • Massive Strategic Leverage: Manage a global stage backed by elite internal distribution networks, deep asset infrastructure, and a team moving at lightspeed.

  • A Culture of Momentum: Join an ecosystem that moves fast and rewards execution. You will be constantly learning, testing new engagement paradigms, and tracking real-world community growth metrics.

  • High-Growth Upside: We value "potential over pedigree." For a Community Manager who consistently transforms a chat grid into a high-utility asset, there is a clear, wide runway into senior operational and growth positions.

What you need to know about the Calgary Tech Scene

Employees can spend up to one-third of their life at work, so choosing the right company is crucial, not just for the job itself but for the company culture as well. Fortunately, Calgary stands out as a hub for both, recognized as one of Startup Genome's Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems, while also playing host to a number of multinational enterprises.
