The Role
As an Consultant – Cloud Strategy & Business Growth, you will play a critical role in defining and shaping customers' hybrid cloud migration strategies and operating models. You will work closely with executives to drive business growth and transformation, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing and IT strategy. You will be responsible for defining Statements of Work, developing client proposals, and contributing to Kyndryl's transformation Points of View. A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Hybrid technologies is highly desirable, along with professional-level certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy & Operating Model Definition:

Engage with customers to assess their current IT landscape and define an optimal cloud migration strategy.

Develop target operating models to align cloud adoption with business objectives.

Provide advisory on hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and security.

Guide customers through cloud adoption frameworks and best practices for workload migration.
Business Growth & Executive Engagement:

Work with senior executives to define and drive business growth strategies aligned with technology transformation.

Identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market trends and cloud adoption.

Conduct C-level presentations and executive briefings on cloud transformation strategies.
Solutioning & Proposal Development:

Develop Statements of Work and define project deliverables.

Craft client proposals that align with business and technology goals.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop high-impact transformation POVs that guide client decision-making.

Support pre-sales and business development efforts by articulating the value of Kyndryl’s offerings.
Cloud & IT Transformation Expertise:

Leverage deep knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to provide strategic cloud solutions.

Define cloud governance models, FinOps, and cost optimization strategies.

Provide recommendations on modernizing applications, infrastructure, and IT operations.

Assist customers in adopting DevOps, SRE, and automation to drive operational excellence.
Collaboration & Thought Leadership:

Work cross-functionally with architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver client engagements.

Contribute to the development of internal best practices and accelerators for cloud transformation.

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance verification while adhering to Kyndryl best practices. Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will generate winning responses and create optimal technical solutions. Moreover, you will actively build and nurture relationships with our external alliance partners, fostering a collaborative environment where joint solutions are co-created.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
-
5-7 years of experience in cloud strategy consulting, IT transformation, or technology advisory.
-
Strong experience in defining cloud migration strategies and operating models.
-
Proven ability to engage with executives and senior stakeholders to define and drive business growth.
-
Experience in creating SOWs, client proposals, and transformation POVs.
-
Knowledge of cloud computing principles, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud architectures.
-
Expertise in one or more public cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional-level certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and FinOps.

Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

Experience with ITSM, governance models, and cloud operating frameworks.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.
