We are seeking a data-driven, content-obsessed marketing manager to support us in sharing our message with the world. You'll be armed with best-in-class tools, direct access to product and leadership teams, autonomy to experiment, and a clear mandate to produce content that drives growth.


At Flatfile, we design products that simplify the complex and laborious world of data onboarding and migration. This role blends analytical thinking, creative storytelling, and strategic planning as we apply AI to a relatively nascent business application space.

As Flatfile evolves to an AI-first product experience, this role will ensure our marketing resonates with technical and non-technical decision-makers while remaining accessible and compelling. This role will greatly influence our brand voice, content strategy, and growth metrics, making it one of the most impactful positions within our team.


You will play a crucial role in shaping how a $2T industry thinks about the intersection of data operations and AI. Your opportunity is to craft narratives that educate, engage, and convert our audience.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Create a content strategy and roadmap in support of Flatfile’s business goals
  • Design and execute an editorial calendar that balances thought leadership, product marketing, and SEO objectives
  • Own content creation for distribution across all channels, re-purposing and adapting to extend the impact of each story
  • Organize and maintain our content repository, ensuring materials stay current and aligned with product evolution
  • Fine-tune Flatfile’s voice and tone, ensuring that it resonates with our ideal customer profiles
  • Create sales enablement content that helps our team tell compelling stories about data onboarding challenges and solutions
  • Develop case studies and customer hero pieces that highlight customer use cases, wins, and ROI
  • Perform extensive research to produce content that confirms deep subject matter expertise and positions Flatfile as an industry leader
  • Manage analytics and reporting initiatives for content, tracking and optimizing key content marketing KPIs

Consider applying if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience leveraging AI to research, write, and edit your work
  • A demonstrated ability to consume a remarkable amount of context about customers, products, and markets to create deeply relevant and resonant content
  • Experience developing content strategy frameworks, with a proven track record of growing organic traffic through content strategy
  • A portfolio of long-form content pieces such as whitepapers, ebooks, or technical blogs
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt writing style for different audiences (e.g., execs vs. developers) and to translate complex technical concepts into compelling content that tells a story
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong project management skills with ability to maintain consistent content velocity

Bonus points if you have:

  • SEO experience
  • Experience with building and/or leveraging custom GPTs for repeatable content needs
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems (HubSpot a plus!)
  • Experience marketing developer tools or technical products

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Flatfile's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.


Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 annually

Equity: this role is eligible to participate in Flatfile's equity plan
