At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.

We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the market and we strive to deliver innovative and intuitive products - always keeping customer experience in mind. As a Content Marketing Manager, you’ll act as our social voice, project manger, storyteller, and community liaison to help develop and deliver our ongoing content and social media initiatives.

What you get to do:

  • Content Creation: Create, write, edit, proofread, and execute all content including slide decks, presentations, blogs, press releases, social media, case studies, help articles, testimonials, infographics, website content, flyers, postcards, masterclasses, podcasts, news shows, email, and more.
  • Project Management: Work with stakeholders both internally and externally to create content including writing briefs, communicating project needs, providing feedback, creating tasks, managing deadlines, and owning results.
  • Social Media: Plan, develop, produce,  and deliver all social media content on a daily basis (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), including replying to comments, creating reels/stories, etc.
  • Content Management: Create monthly and quarterly content calendars that include a range of content from infographics to social media content based on industry trends, product releases, and company announcements.
  • Metric Tracking & Recommendations: Track all owned metrics on a weekly basis to discover and recommend areas of improvement and new opportunities, and to identify channel trends.
  • Research & Development: Stay up to date on the latest trends to ensure that content is relevant and engaging to our audience.
  • Partnerships & Contractors: Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media or email to create and build a strong network, create contracts to develop content, and manage contractors hired to complete any overwork initiatives (web development, blogs, content creation, etc).
  • Video Editing: Basic video editing on iMovie, Premiere Pro, and/or Descript to edit podcasts, webinars, help videos, etc.

What you bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or communications.
  • A portfolio of published work or examples of previous social media, blog, and content posts.
  • Familiarity with content management systems HubSpot, LinkTree, etc
  • Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign (ideal, not required).
  • Experience with Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite is also considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
  • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to keep on top of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $110,000 CAD

Employees can spend up to one-third of their life at work, so choosing the right company is crucial, not just for the job itself but for the company culture as well. While startups often offer dynamic culture and growth opportunities, large corporations provide benefits like career development and networking, especially appealing to recent graduates. Fortunately, Calgary stands out as a hub for both, recognized as one of Startup Genome's Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems, while also playing host to a number of multinational enterprises.
