DRW is looking for a Contract Administrator to join our EDT Business team with an emphasis on the  documentation and lifecycle management of contracts and agreements as well as providing business services and support for the department.

As a Contract Administrator for DRW, here are some of the things you’ll focus on: 

  • Proactively reviews agreements to identify action dates and/or potential risks or issues
  • Ensures all necessary legal and stakeholder approvals are in hand prior to executing new services
  • Prepares for and executes quarterly contract lifecycle meetings and follows ups with contract owners before actionable dates.
  • Actions all lifecycle meeting decisions prior the action dates, which includes but is not limited to reaching out to the vendors to negotiate terms and pricing, provide renewal instructions, notify of cancellations
  • Documents and maintains information in contract database to be used as reference data and source information for reporting and analytics
  • Ensures completion and accuracy of all documentation associated with all suppliers, services, and costs including Contract data base, Accounting data base, Salesforce, Wiki, Wrike
  • Supports trading teams as needed by handling new subscription requests, issues with current services, setting up trials for new services
  • Reports to and looks to Contract and Business Manager for guidance on any new initiatives, escalations needed, and addressing cross team communication and procedures
  • Generates purchase orders and instructs multiple accounting teams on payments, disputes, allocations, and upcoming changes
  • Independently works on multifaceted requests and escalations to result in effective and timely resolution
  • Participates in contract negotiations to obtain preferred Terms & Conditions keeping the company as a whole in mind
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks

Required Experience:

  • Minimum two years of experience working with contracts and legal documents
  • Able to skillfully manage a diverse workload and multiple competing priorities
  • Can provide thorough and organized execution of highly-detailed tasks under time constraints
  • Can proactively and independently carry out said tasks
  • Have a meticulous and detail-oriented nature, able to detect errors and inconsistencies
  • Organizational skills commensurate with the complexity of the role
  • Manage and improve internal procedures to ensure optimal team efficiency
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure business needs are met
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to influence and confidently deliver messages using clear and concise language or to interpret complex agreements
  • Ability to push external contacts as well as internal contacts to meet timelines and deadlines
  • Strong work ethic with a positive and respectful attitude
  • Are a team player, must be reliable and dedicated
  • Ability to perform with absolute discretion
