The Role: Data Analyst, Fraud
As a Data Analyst, Fraud, you will play a key role in detecting and preventing online fraud, analyzing fraud-related data, and generating insights to strengthen our fraud prevention strategies. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fraud prevention efforts align with Prezzee’s strategic ambitions.
Based in San Francisco Bay Area, CA In-office Monday to Thursday, WFH on Fridays
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyze fraud-related data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging threats.
- Investigate fraud alerts, chargeback disputes, and customer support escalations.
- Monitor transaction data and fraud trends, escalating risks as needed.
- Work closely with Fraud ML Engineers, to define and tune fraud prevention and detection measures.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable fraud insights.
- Assist in fraud prevention planning, collaborating with teams such as Customer Support, Information Security, Legal, and Data Science.
- Represent the Head of Fraud in meetings when required.
- Stay ahead of emerging fraud tactics by attending industry events and training.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical skills and experience with large datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.
- Proficiency in BI and Data Visualisation tools.
- Experience in global e-commerce fraud prevention and chargeback management.
- Knowledge of fraud tools, detection strategies, and industry trends.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to convey insights and findings.
- Adaptability to work across multiple time zones with occasional travel.

This position can be based inSan Francisco Bay Area. Full time base salary ranges between $110,000 to 135,000 USD based on the industry benchmark for position,location, function and level of individual experience. The total compensation package for this position includes a STI and benefits.
