The Senior Data Architect will lead the design of modern enterprise data architectures, focusing on cloud platforms and AI-enabled solutions while ensuring data governance.
This is a remote position.
Client is seeking a Senior Data Architect to support the OneData Alberta and Crosswalk initiatives. The role focuses on enterprise data architecture, Data Fabric/Data Mesh frameworks, cloud and hybrid data platforms, AI-enabled data products, secure data sharing, and enterprise-wide interoperability.
The consultant will provide strategic architectural leadership for modern data ecosystems across platforms including Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, and Cloudera, enabling scalable, governed, and secure enterprise data solutions.

RequirementsMandatory Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of enterprise data architecture experience
- 5+ years in multiple architecture domains:
- Business Architecture
- Application Architecture
- Technology Architecture
- Data Architecture
- Business Architecture
- 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and integrations
- 5+ years modelling complex business processes and translating them into technical solutions
- 5+ years supporting infrastructure and enterprise software environments
- 3+ years communicating complex data concepts to stakeholders and clients
