Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Shred Plant Coordinator- Union in Burnaby. We are looking for a highly reliable, trustworthy, and punctual team member to take on this dynamic role.

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly reliable, trustworthy, and punctual team member ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the daily operations of the shredding plant, ensuring the efficiency of shredding, baling, and material handling processes to meet targets.

  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to the shredding technicians

  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on equipment like shredders, balers, and forklifts

  • Be Implementing and enforcing company policies and industry standards to ensure a safe and secure work environment

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years of experience in the transportation, operations, or warehouse field.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Must be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment

  • Bobcat (Skid Steer) Certification and Forklift certification are a most

  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills

  • Must have computer literacy, including Excel mastery and the ability to adapt to various plant management systems for tracking production and inventory.
