* Job Summary
* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess solid expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and demonstrate a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and automation solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform. We would consider candidates with strong experience with AWS and Azure. However, GCP is preferred, and the ideal candidate would have the Google Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
* What you will do:
* Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on GCP.
* Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.
* Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
* Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

* Understand SOC2 and GDPR requirements and collaborate with compliance systems to maintain certifications.Work closely with compliance teams to address audit findings and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
* Ensure proper security measures are in place for infrastructure and applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, providing timely resolutions.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Identify, design, architect, implement, and document automation strategies.
* Partner with the development team to implement high-performing continuous integration pipelines.
* Understand software engineering, networking, and security best practices and the impact they have on efficiency.
* Evangelize and contribute to effective use of DevOps practices and Cloud solutions.
* Strong containerization skills (Docker/Kubernetes), container registries.
* Continually seek ways to optimize and improve all operational aspects of our IT solutions.
* Utilize advanced cloud provider service-oriented skill sets.
* Approach tasks with both fault-tolerance, security, and compliance-focused mindsets.
* Collaborate with Software Development, QA, and Architects to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of build and deployment processes to support all phases of development, QA, and production releases.
* Assist in problem identification and employ mitigation strategies for technical risks related to cloud redundancy, security, and scalability.
* Conduct DevOps tool research, evaluation, POC (proof of concept), installation, configuration, and training.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production and pre-production issues in a timely manner.
* Monitor infrastructure and services to maximize uptime.
* Perform root cause analysis.
* Write technical documentation and conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the development team.
* Participate in daily SCRUM stand-up and other ceremonies in relation to DevOps projects tasks.
* Keep abreast of modern technologies and be willing to present them to the technical staff.
* What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong emphasis on infrastructure automation.
* Solid expertise and over 3 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and solutions (AWS and Azure will consider)
* Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
* Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
* Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experienced utilizing Observability platforms for monitoring and optimizing cloud-based workloads.
* Experienced in Agile software development as well as Agile tools such as Jira.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to interact with external customers and staff members (both technical and business)
* Participate in annual security training assigned by CDW Information Security team
* Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly expanding environment
* Professional certifications such as Google Cloud DevOps Engineer or similar, a plus.
* Strong GCP services hands-on experience, a plus.
* Strong experience with at least one of the following - GitHub, Gitlab or Bitbucket, a plus.
* Proficient with scripting languages such as Terraform and experience with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, along with understanding of relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, a plus.
* Knowledge of modern security tools and frameworks, a plus.
* Pay range: $ 109,000 - $ 155,300 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
