Position Summary
The Digital & Content Marketing Specialist supports Optima Living’s digital presence across websites, microsites, social channels, blogs, and AI-driven content. This hands-on role focuses on keeping information accurate, organized, and consistent across all platforms. By structuring content clearly and simplifying complex information, this role helps families and residents understand our services and feel welcomed. This role requires strong organization, coordination, and attention to detail to support a purpose-driven, resident-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing Website & Community Microsites - Updating content across the corporate site and 37+ community microsites, ensuring accuracy of amenities, care levels, programs, events, and pricing.
- Building Landing Pages & Campaign Content - Creating and updating landing pages and campaign content for open houses, occupancy initiatives, and marketing campaigns using Optima templates and tone.
- Executing GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) - Creating structured, AI-friendly content, (summaries, FAQs, and quick-answer sections) and maintaining consistent formatting across communities.
- Supporting Social Media Channels - Writing posts, scheduling approved content, uploading assets, curating resident stories, and supporting community-facing materials
- Optimizing YouTube & OLTV Content - Uploading videos and optimizing titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, and metadata for discoverability.
- Publishing Blogs & Resource Library Content - Formatting and uploading blog posts, maintaining internal links, CTAs, and downloadable educational resources.
- Supporting AI Content Generation - Using templates and prompt libraries to create structured content and repurpose long-form materials across digital channels.
- Coordinating Community Content - Collecting photos, resident stories, and event updates; ensuring consistent formatting, accuracy, and showcasing life in the communities.
- Maintaining Digital Consistency & Governance - Ensuring tone, structure, and formatting match with Optima standards across communities and correcting outdated or inconsistent content.
- Reporting & Project Coordination - Providing basic reporting on content accuracy, task progress, and page performance indicators
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, content, communications, or a related field.
- Experience updating websites or working within a CMS.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to make senior living content warm, human, and easy to understand.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Comfort using AI tools for content creation, summarizing, and structuring.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and requests.
- Strong project coordination abilities, ideally in a fast-paced or multi-stakeholder environment.
- Collaborative mindset aligned with Optima Living’s values.
- Experience in science, research, or other structured communication fields is an asset.
