Job Description

AECOM's Environment Business Line is seeking a collaborative and innovative Digital Development and Engagement Specialist – Environment who is passionate about driving change to support in connecting project teams on a global scale and drive innovation across the business line. The ideal candidate would have previous experience fostering intercompany collaboration, developing automated workflows, and technical experience in the field of environmental sciences or a related discipline. This is a Full-time role.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with domestic project teams, Enterprise Capabilities (EC) teams overseas, and AECOM's Digital Team to drive EC engagement and support the development and adoption of various digital solutions aimed towards streamlining workflows and driving efficiencies. You will apply your innovation and communication skills to solve problems for project teams and ultimately drive collaborative engagement between domestic and overseas project teams and streamline workflows using various automation and reporting tools.

To be successful in this role you will seek to challenge the status-quo and constantly identify ways to improve processes and procedures. You are passionate about technology and have some familiarity with the basics of programming, with an understanding of its potential. You are willing to learn and champion new systems and processes, training and mentorship will be provided.

For AECOM internal applicants: We are looking for the right fitting staff across the business and can work around your other project commitments. We can also allow a transition up to full time as your other business responsibilities are reassigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    · A degree or diploma in environmental or earth sciences, engineering, or related field.

    • 2+ years' experience in the field of environmental or earth sciences, engineering, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · 5 years' experience in the field of environmental or earth sciences, engineering, or related field.

    • Passionate about technology with an understanding of programming basics.
    • Strong communication skills with a proven track record of collaboration.
    • Power Platform development experience (SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps). In lieu of Power Platform experience database management, GIS or other programming experience will be considered.
    • Experience working with, delegating, or overseeing work delegated to Enterprise Capabilities Centers.
    • Desire or experience travelling/living in counties outside of North America
    • French and English.
