Job Responsibilities:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate properly with other departments.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The dimensional engineer quality works in a general factory environment. Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting, and occasional stooping and bending.
EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:
Some of the equipment and tools used are computer, telephone, fax machine, copier/printer, and a projector.
KNOWLEDGE:
Must Know Team Center Software.
(CMM, Hexagon and GOM Programs) Gom is the new hardware that we will use to measure parts
Must know trigonometric functions, geometry and basic math.
Must possess a working knowledge of SPC.
Must possess advanced GD&T knowledge.
EDUCATION:
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of 3 years technical education and experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
