Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in the services offered to clients and partners in the Individual Insurance Contract Administration sector through team management?
Your Future Role:
Your primary mandate will be to ensure that the client and partner experience aligns with the company’s ambition to best meet their needs. Reporting to the Director of Contract Administration, you will lead and mobilize a pan-Canadian team. Specifically, you will manage administrative processes, from receiving requests to forwarding them for underwriting when necessary.
You will face challenges in three main areas:
Strategic Process Development
- Assess and manage business risks related to transactions.
- Approve high-risk financial transactions (up to $500,000).
- Oversee processes carried out by your team.
- Ensure daily meetings (DMS) run effectively and hold team members accountable for problem resolution.
- Participate in business process improvement and ensure objectives are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in operations and services in collaboration with other managers.
Team Management
- Recruit, develop, and evaluate your team members while fostering an engaging work environment.
- Ensure adherence to service standards and transaction quality.
- Achieve team objectives while respecting service standards and policies.
Client and Partner Relations
- Follow up on cases requiring additional explanations or adjustments to usual practices, including financial impact evaluations.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Client Relations, or Legal teams to find fair solutions for clients/partners and the company.
- Handle exceptional situations, issues, or information requests.
- Propose and implement updates to standards and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree (Actuarial Science, Accounting, Administration, Finance, Law, or related field).
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in personnel supervision, activity coordination, and customer service (an asset).
- Knowledge of individual insurance products and systems (an asset).
- Strong prioritization, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and French.
